Bad Pollyanna release ‘The Broken Toys’

Yesterday, Bad Pollyanna released their new album ‘The Broken Toys‘, the follow up to their debut album ‘Monstrous Child‘ (released in 2013) This much-anticipated album takes a look into the deeper, darker recesses of the psyche, mixing haunting melodies with edgy guitar riffs and beautifully crafted lyrics.

I haven’t yet heard the entire album but if the opening track ‘Define Me’ is anything to go by, it’s going to be a worthy follow-up to ‘Monstrous Child‘ and is high on my Christmas wish-list.

According to their bio, “Bad Pollyanna represents a mix of both beauty and darkness. The band explores and celebrates the duality of love, sex and the human condition through music and art.” (Official Bad Pollyanna website)

The Broken Toys‘ and it’s predecessor ‘Monstrous Child‘ is available for purchase and download from Bandcamp and iTunes. Bad Pollyanna are supporters of the Sophie Lancaster Foundation.
